General Project Settings

This article outlines the general settings for managing your OWOX BI project, including steps for renaming your project, checking its status, and viewing key performance metrics.

NoteOnly members with Admin access rights have full access to manage project settings (e.g., change subscription, add/remove seats, etc.).

How to Access Project Settings

To get started, open your OWOX BI project and go to the Project settings page.

Once you’re there, the page will be split into two main sections: on the left, you’ll find a list of key project settings, and on the right, there’s a summary of your Credits usage.

For the best user experience, use the left sidebar menu to navigate to dedicated project settings subpages, such as:

General Info

The General Info section gives you an overview of your project’s essential details:

  • Subscription plan: The current plan your project is on.
  • Credits used: The number of Credits consumed this month.
  • Shared datasets: The number of shared datasets in the project.

Each item is clickable, so you can easily navigate to the relevant settings. For example, if you need to change your subscription, click on the subscription name to open the Subscription page.

 

Credits Consumption Overview

On the right side of the page, you’ll see a snapshot of your project’s Credits usage:

  • The total Credits used this month.
  • A detailed breakdown of usage by Consumption Units, making it easy to identify which units are used the most or the least.

Need more details? Click the Full report link to view a complete breakdown of your usage on the Credits consumption page, including charts and in-depth metrics.

 

Renaming Your Project

You can update your project name directly from the Project settings page. Just click the name at the top of the page, type in the new name, and click anywhere outside the field to save your changes automatically.

 

Checking Your Project Status

Next to the project name, you’ll see your project’s current status:

  • Active: The default status for all new projects.
  • Blocked: A project can be blocked due to issues like missed subscription payments or restrictions in your country or region.

 

Managing Seats and Members

To add or remove seats or members from your OWOX BI project, please refer to this article. On the Members page, you can also manage the access rights (Admin, Editor, Viewer) for each user in the project.

 

Deleting Your Project

To delete a project, open the context menu next to the project status and select Delete project. For detailed instructions, check out this article.
