OWOX BI project may become temporarily blocked if payment attempts fail and your subscription status changes. This can happen after multiple unsuccessful attempts by our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your card. Below, we’ve outlined the steps to restore your subscription and reactivate your project.
Why Does the Service Get Blocked?
When Stripe cannot process a payment for your subscription:
- The first charge attempt is made on the due date.
- If the payment fails, Stripe makes additional attempts over the following days.
- After several unsuccessful attempts, your subscription status changes from Active to Past Due or Incomplete, leading to a temporary block of your OWOX BI project.
To reactivate your subscription, you’ll need to update your payment method in the Customer Portal.
Steps to Reactivate Your OWOX BI Project
Step 1: Navigate to the Subscription Page
1.1. Go to OWOX BI and sign in to your account.
1.2. In the project menu, click the Subscription link.
Step 2: Access the Customer Portal
2.1. In the "Billing Portal" section, click the Change Plan & Billing Info button.
2.2. Log in to the Customer Portal using the email address associated with your subscription.
Step 3: Update Your Payment Method
3.1. Scroll to the Payment Method section.
3.2. Click the Add Payment Method button.
3.3. Enter new card details or select an alternative payment method, then save the changes.
Step 4: Verify Subscription Status
Once the new payment method is added, Stripe will process the outstanding payment automatically. If the payment is successful, your subscription status will return to Active, and your OWOX BI project will be unblocked.
