Today, we are excited to unveil a significant enhancement to the OWOX BI GA4 event-based streaming data schema: the inclusion of a new measurement_id
parameter within the event_params
field.
This advancement is especially valuable for:
- Customers who manage multiple websites, and collect user behavior data from these sites into a single OWOX BI Streaming table for comprehensive analysis.
- Those who generate reports from the aggregated ‘events_intraday_’ table and require site-specific analytics to make more precise, data-informed decisions.
Please note that the measurement_id
parameter has been implemented as of April 10, 2024. This is an important consideration when crafting SQL queries for historical data analysis. Additionally, it's important to note that the measurement_id
parameter is meticulously aligned with the stream_id
(from GA4) to guarantee a perfect match.
Dive deeper into our documentation for a full list of event parameters added by the OWOX BI algorithm.
For those utilizing the Measurement Protocol for data collection from servers, it’s crucial to manually incorporate the measurement_id
value into the events[]
array, as this parameter is not automatically populated.
