With this update, our team has improved the ad URL processing in the next pipelines:
- Facebook Ads → Google BigQuery
- LinkedIn → Google BigQuery / Google Analytics
Now OWOX BI processes UTM tags in your ad links even if they are modified via URL tracking or shortening services (for example, ad.doubleclick.net, weborama, bit.ly).
The improvement enables you to attribute the ad cost to user sessions regardless of the ad link type.
