On September 1, 2020, the changes in rules for calculating unique billable users became active. Please, consider these changes when planning your budget for using OWOX BI.
Previously, if your OWOX BI project had more than one type of pipeline collecting user data, OWOX BI considered the unique users from the pipelines of one type only. The one where pipelines had processed the largest number of unique users within a billing period.
From September 1, 2020, your subscription plan is billing unique users from all the user data pipelines in your OWOX BI project.
Note: The definition of a unique user, how unique users are calculated, and what OWOX BI pipelines and features require processing unique users — all described in this article.
Example
Your OWOX BI project has two website user behavior data pipelines, one AppsFlyer pipeline, and an OWOX BI Attribution model based on the BigQuery Export data from Google Analytics 360. At the end of the billing period, you get these unique users processing statistics:
Website user behavior data → Google BigQuery pipelines |
50,000 + 40,000 = 90,000 unique users |
AppsFlyer → BigQuery |
10,000 unique users |
BigQuery Export data from Google Analytics 360 as a data source for an attribution model |
40,000 unique users |
Before September 1, 2020: Your subscription plan was billed considers only the unique users from the “Website user behavior data → Google BigQuery”: 90,000 unique users.
After September 1, 2020: All the unique users processed in the OWOX BI project considers in billing: 90,000 + 10,000 + 40,000 = 140,000 unique users.
