We are pleased to announce an enhancement to our popular LinkedIn Ads → Google BigQuery pipeline. We have expanded the data schema by adding the approximate_member_reach
field, commonly known as the Reach metric—a highly sought-after metric among marketers.
What Is the Reach Metric?
Reach represents the number of unique users exposed to your page, profile, campaign, post type (e.g., video or image), or any other segment. It focuses solely on non-demographic pivots (i.e., not MEMBER_). Specifically, it provides the estimated number of unique member accounts that have received at least one impression of your content.
NOTE In LinkedIn Ads, this metric is an updated and more accurate version of the legacy metric approximateUniqueImpressions
. The Reach metric is only available when the number of days in the date range is less than or equal to 92 days.

How Can You Leverage the Reach Metric?
With the inclusion of the Reach metric, you can now build more comprehensive reports and gain deeper insights into your LinkedIn advertising efforts. Here are some of the reports you can create:
