We are thrilled to announce the 'Openexchangerates.org → Google BigQuery' pipeline, now available in a Fully-managed status. This means you can now effortlessly set up this pipeline from our user-friendly interface and just get daily currency exchange rates in BigQuery.

Why it matters

This pipeline enhancement is crucial because it elevates automated data collection. Seamlessly connect all your marketing data sources to Google BigQuery without any code. To find any insights built on cost data, it's essential to unify all expenses into a single currency. To achieve this, you'll need our 'Openexchangerates.org → Google BigQuery' pipeline and the Blended AdSpend transformation template.

How it works

Create a pipeline

Setting up the pipeline is straightforward. Visit bi.owox.com, create a new Pipeline, choose Openexchangerates.org as the source, and click 'Create & Setup.'

Source and Destination config

Enter the API token, copied from the Openexchangerates.org site, and select the BigQuery dataset as the destination.

Historical data import

After pipeline activation, the first data import occurs the next day, but you can kickstart the historical data load for the past 2 years immediately. We've prepared a detailed setup guide on this page to help you.

Time triggers

Our new pipeline also offers customizable import schedule options: daily, weekly on specific days, or monthly on designated days. Easily configure this on the Time Triggers tab.
