How to update an access token to your ad account in the Ad service → Google BigQuery pipelines?

This article is valid for the pipelines from Facebook, LinkedIn, Criteo, Bing, Twitter, AdRoll, and Yahoo Gemini to Google BigQuery.

When creating a new pipeline, you grant OWOX BI access to your ad account so that the service can import the cost data. Normally, authorization is required only once. However, there are cases when you may need to re-authorize the service. For instance:

  • you have changed your ad account password;
  • your access token has expired;
  • any related changes have occurred on the ad service API side.

In all the cases above, you can update the access token to your ad account without even recreating the pipeline. Below you will find the instructions you may follow depending on whether your pipeline is active or blocked.

Updating access token in Active pipeline

Step 1. On the pipeline page, click the Edit icon next to the associated account name.

After the service is authorized, the pipeline will become active. Data import will be resumed shortly.
