How to report an issue to OWOX BI Support?

From this article, you’ll learn how to create and submit a report about the issues, that you're experiencing, in a way that will help us troubleshoot the problem.

To report an issue to our Support, please complete the following steps:

Step 1. Describe the actions you had completed before an error occurred or any unexpected service behavior happened. It should be the steps that allow you to reproduce the issue and log it later on.

For your convenience, we’ve prepared a sample tabular form you can copy and fill in with your data (see it below).

Steps to reproduce
Go to https://bi.owox.com/ui/fff343efd6388c2479ca99c370238f7e/dashboard/
Click "Create Pipeline"
Select "Yandex.Direct" as a data source
Select "Google BigQuery" as a destination
...
Click "Create Pipeline"
Expected result
Redirect to the pipeline page
Actual result
UI says "Something went wrong (request_id: 34sfdg342)"

 

Step 2. Open the Google Chrome Dev Tools. To do it, navigate the Google menu: More tools > Developer tools. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+I (on Windows) or Ctrl+Option+I (on Mac).

Step 3. In the developer console window, make sure you are on the Network tab.

Step 4. Tick the Preserve Log option. It allows logging all the actions you’ll make further within the service.

Step 5. Perform the Steps to reproduce you’ve written down at Step 1.

Step 6. Click Export HAR to download the log file.

Step 7. Email our Support at bi@owox.com. In your letter, please provide us with all the steps we need to reproduce the issue (see Step 1 of the current instructions) and attach the HAR file you’ve exported (see Step 6 of the current instructions).
