Why Updating Previously Imported Data is Important

Ad cost data calculated by advertising services may be adjusted over time. For instance, ad services can revise statistics to exclude bot activity or invalid clicks.

How It Works

To ensure you receive the most accurate information about your ad costs, OWOX BI regularly queries ad services within a set actualization period. If any changes to cost data are detected in your ad service account, OWOX BI updates the corresponding data in the BigQuery dataset used for your Ad Service → Google BigQuery pipeline.

The Default Actualization Window

The default actualization period for Ad Service → Google BigQuery pipelines is set at -2, -3, and -21 days.

Keep in mind that extended data actualization, which refers to updating data beyond the standard time frame, incurs additional charges.
