The ad cost data discrepancy may be caused by a misconfiguration or by peculiarities of the related services work. Check out the possible reasons for data discrepancy and find the appropriate solution for your case.
- Discrepancy reason: The required UTM tags are missing.
Solution: Define the source, medium, campaign, keyword, and content UTM tags for all your advertisements.
Important! Your ads must contain at least source and medium tags so that the ad cost can be attributed. Otherwise, the ad costs won’t be recorded into BigQuery tables.
- Discrepancy reason: The cost data reports of different ad services become available at a different time. For example, Yandex.Market publishes their reports after 8:00 AM that is later than the other ad services do.
Solution: Please try to compare the data later.
- Discrepancy reason: The data in the GA source table was updated after the regular data update in the owoxbi_sessions ended.
Solution: OWOX BI will upload the missing data during the very next synchronization, i.e. from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM on a daily basis.
