Firstly, let's clarify what happens after a user installs the extension and selects their preferred GCP project. In this article, we've outlined the following logic: the system adds the user to an Organization and establishes a connection between GCP projects and the OWOX BI project through this Organization.
Here's the sequence of events:
- The user selects a GCP project in the extension.
- The system identifies the OWOX BI project associated with this GCP project through the Organization.
- The system adds the user with an Admin role to the list of users in that OWOX BI project if the user has not been added yet.
The same extension user can have an Admin role in multiple OWOX BI projects linked to their Organization.
To view the full list of OWOX BI projects you have access to, navigate to bi.owox.com, open the project menu, and select 'Switch project.' Then you will see the list of available projects.
Similarly, you can switch between OWOX BI projects, for example, for monitoring the number of Report Runs Lite used each month.
